Divine Liturgy Text
We are currently finalising a translation of the Divine Liturgy.

In the meantime, you can access the document here.

To learn about what is happening in each part of the Divine Liturgy (for the clergy and the laity), you might enjoy Meditations on the Divine Liturgy by Nikolai Gogol in this PDF.

Translations for other services that occur throught the year, such as the Blessing of the Waters on Theophany and Forgiveness Sunday Vespers, can be found on this website.
For information about praying during the services, please access How One Should Pray In Church, taken from the Holy Trinity Monastery Jordanville's Prayer Book, via the PDF here.
Prayers for Holy Communion
Partaking in the Mystery of Holy Communion requires repentance, fasting, and a process of preparation. We are never worthy to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord, so we prepare ourselves as much as possible by reading a collection of prayers, which you can find in full in this complete PDF.
This (full) prayer rule is extensive, and includes the Canons for Holy Communion (first part of the PDF and below recording), the Order of the Preparation for Holy Communion (pg. 377, and 36:30 in the recording), and the Prayers after Holy Communion (pg. 394 - also read aloud after Liturgy).
You can listen along to the full prayers before Holy Communion as you read in this free recording, produced by the Holy Cross Monastery.
As with all spritual matters, including prayer rules, please follow personalised advice given by Fr Theophilos.
